The Significance of Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square

The Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is a social, religious and metropolitan center of attraction in Kathmandu that is spread over an area of five acres. The Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is an antecedent mastery of the Malla Dynasty with later western influence that was added on to it and has witnessed the raise and fall of many monarchies in Nepal including the Mallas and the Shahs. The Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is also a world heritage site and is a site with lots of historical and traditional significance to the nation of Nepal. The Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is also a representation of the rich culture and tradition of the Nepalese people and is full of statues and artifacts of great importance. Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square was also a royal residence before royal residency moved to Narayanhiti Palace.
